Twinset Familiarisation Dive

Many divers may reach a point in their diving careers when they start to look beyond a single cylinder setup. There are a number of reasons they may want to do this - increased redundancy and safety or in anticipation of a move towards technical diving.

The course is designed as an introduction to the benefits of twinset diving. We will look at setup, benefits, skills and hose routings among other things. We will also look to offer advice on what to consider if you are thinking of purchasing a set of your own.

To book yourself on a course please use the Contact Us page and we will get back to you to discuss further details.

How long will it take?

What will I receive at the start of the course?

What previous experience do I need?

Anyone wishing to participate in the Twinset Familiarisation Dive course must be at least an Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent) with at least 40 logged dives. Participants must be at least 18 years old.

What don't fees include?

What can I do once I'm qualified?

This is not an officially sanctioned course and as such does not necessarily entitle you to any diving experiences you could not enjoy previously. It aims to leave you more knowledgeable, and to get you to consider your equipment setup more carefully.

What's next?

Your diving may not necessarily change a great deal - it depends largely on your initial motives for doing the course. For many it will mark a move towards deeper and longer diving.
